I had gotten up that morning to temperatures of -11C (camping wild) and a beautiful clear sky and fantastic views, but within the hour freezing fog had rolled in up off the loch and I was rather disappointed. So on the grounds I could see nothing where I was, I decided to leave the glen and move on elsewhere.
I never made it out of the glen. As I was leaving the fog started to roll back and left behind a beautiful scene which just had to be photo'ed.
What is great about the weather here is that it is hiding the A82 (main road) which winds up at the back of this photo onto Rannoch Moor.
